Klocwork Insight integration allows TI customers to take advantage of static source code analysis technology within the Code Composer Studio v4 environment

Burlington, Mass. - October 27, 2009 - Klocwork, Inc., the global leader in automated source code analysis solutions for improving developer productivity, today announced the integration of Klocwork Insight with Code Composer Studio v4 (CCStudio), the latest release of the industry-leading integrated development environment (IDE) from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI).

Offered as a plug-in to IDEs based on the Eclipse open source software framework, Klocwork Insight gives embedded software development teams the ability to maximize their productivity through the early detection of critical coding errors in their source code. Through the use of Klocwork's static source code analysis tools, software developers can find and fix security vulnerabilities, quality defects and architectural issues quickly and accurately.

"Klocwork Insight's support for the Eclipse IDE framework allows us to offer seamless integration with Code Composer Studio v4," says Alen Zukich, director of product management, Klocwork. "Now embedded developers who have made CCStudio their IDE of choice can utilize a feature-rich, highly productive environment to develop high-quality, defect-free embedded applications without changes to their established development processes."

"The latest release of CCStudio was not only designed to simplify embedded development, it also allows our customers to benefit from high-value third-party plug-ins available within the Eclipse eco-system," says John Stevenson, Product Manager, TI. "We believe tools like Klocwork Insight enhance the value of CCStudio and allow our customers to more quickly develop robust applications for TI embedded processors."

CCstudio v4 combines the advantages of Eclipse with advanced debugging capabilities from TI, resulting in a cohesive environment with an array of features for cost-efficient, simple embedded processing. Klocwork Insight is designed to seamlessly integrate into industry leading IDEs like CCStudio v4, as well as via the Klocwork Desktop and the command line, enabling developers to check-in clean code.
