AGILE ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES NEW LOCATION FOR AGILE 2010

Due to Tennessee flooding, Agile 2010 relocated to Orlando, Florida

PORTLAND, Ore., May 11, 2010 – The Agile Alliance, <http://www.agilealliance.org> ) a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, today announced that in response to the floods that ravaged Nashville, Tenn., the Agile 2010 conference has been relocated to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel in Orlando, Florida. The conference dates will remain the same; scheduled for Aug. 9 – 13 (http://agile2010.agilealliance.org).

“With the uncertainty of when the Nashville facilities could be restored we decided to relocate the Agile 2010 conference to ensure we can accommodate the increased interest we have had from attendees,” explained James Newkirk, Agile 2010 conference chair. “We are committed to providing the most compelling and practical sessions on Agile software development principles and practices, and this move will ensure the conference will continue to provide an outstanding experience for all attendees.”

In its ninth year, Agile 2010 is the leading international conference on Agile methods in software development, bringing together many disciplines in the fields of information systems and software development to foster the exchange of fresh ideas and best practices. It provides independent software vendors, software consultants and in-house corporate development teams with the knowledge and shared experiences that lead to successful Agile programs.
