Gurock Software announced the availability of TestRail Hosted, a new SaaS and cloud-based edition of their web-based test management software. TestRail helps software development teams and QA departments to efficiently manage, track and organize their software testing efforts.

One of TestRail's unique features is that customers can install the software on their own servers, either online or on their private network behind a firewall. According to Gurock the installed edition is a very popular choice for teams that have access to their own IT infrastructure. As SaaS and cloud-based options become more popular, Gurock Software just announced and introduced a SaaS offering of their test management tool.

TestRail Hosted is maintained and hosted directly by Gurock Software on high-performance servers in professional data centers. TestRail Hosted comes with automated updates, hosting of the software and full support. Another difference is that TestRail Hosted comes with a low monthly subscription fee instead of an up-front licensing fee, making it the
perfect choice for teams with smaller budgets.

TestRail is installed directly on a customer's server or can be hosted online. The software is available for purchase for $239 per user, or $25 per user per month, with additional discounts available for multi-user packs. A free fully-functional trial of TestRail (either hosted or downloaded) and an extensive product tour can be found on Gurock's website.

About Gurock Software: Gurock Software specializes in tools for software development teams and quality assurance departments. Gurock is known for its popular Java, Delphi and .NET logging tool SmartInspect and its modern web-based test management solution TestRail.
