Rally executes on its vision to seamlessly scale Agile practices for large, heterogeneous development teams

BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 9 -- Rally Software Development Corp.(R), a leading provider of Agile software life cycle management solutions, today announced several new integrations that enable organizations to leverage their existing development infrastructures. In addition, new enterprise features help organizations seamlessly adopt and scale Agile practices.
Rally now offers numerous integration "connectors" with its Agile life cycle management solutions to help multi-team development organizations protect existing investments, reduce implementation costs and seamlessly unify technical and role-based silos into a collaborative Agile dashboard. In addition, Rally's new enterprise features deliver multi-team project planning, tracking and resource management for more in-depth project visibility.

"As Rally evolves with more integrations, we serve as a central hub of information for teams as they mash-up and connect their favorite tools to better communicate and collaborate across the enterprise," said Ryan Martens, Rally's founder and CTO. "The latest release of Rally delivers on our vision of offering an 'integration hub' where large enterprises can quickly and easily blend legacy tools with their incremental adoption of Agile practices."

New integration connectors with role-based tools deliver the visibility and collaboration needed to scale Agile practices, and include:

  -- Connectors with development tools:
     -- Subversion (source code control)
     -- Eclipse (IDE)
     -- Visual Studio (IDE)
-- Connectors with quality assurance and testing tools:

In addition, new Rally enterprise features announced today provide enhanced visibility across multiple teams and projects, and include:

-- Resource management for balancing workloads across multiple teams and
