Join your peers for Serena’s Pragmatic Approach to Agile Development Webcast on Tuesday, October 9th and learn more about the dramatic, and profitable, change that Agile Development can bring to your organization.

Agile Development has emerged as a serious alternative to the traditional "waterfall" software development lifecycle. After years as a programmer-driven initiative, many companies are now tackling Agile head on. The challenge is how to integrate this new lifecycle into your existing project management and development management methodologies.

Come hear from industry expert John Scumniotales, co-developer of the SCRUM Agile methodology, as he discusses how to manage projects and teams using Agile. John will provide insight and practical tips on:

  • How to introduce Agile to your traditional SDLC projects
  • How to organize and manage Agile projects with minimal impact on developers
  • How to rollup Agile and Waterfall projects into a single enterprise view
  • How to implement enterprise-strength processes to a methodology that is, by design, process-adverse
  • A "behind the scenes" real-world case of how one company is moving from Waterfall to Agile

Nagashri Kadur: ...
I would like to take this opportunity to THANK both John S and Patrick E for a great webcast this morning. It was very educational for me and my team since we are just beginning to learn about and try the agile development methodology.
I am not sure if this was a problem for everyone. But, when the webcast started, we were able to hear Patrick very clearly. But, by the time the Q&A session started, we would hardly hear Patrick. So, it was kind of hard to understand some of the questions and relate the answers to them.
Finally, Patrick had mentioned that all the questions would be answered regardless of whether they could de handled within the window of time allocated. Where can I go to find answers to the questions that we posted this morning.

Thanks for all of your help in educating us.
-Shri
