Agile
development techniques hearken back to a time when most developers were
able to work on small projects, in small teams, and integrate regularly
with other developers to ensure continued progress. But for most
build/release teams, there's no longer such a thing as a small build on
a single machine. Continuous integration is a very popular development
practice, but to the build team, the words 'multiple (verified)
integrations per day' mean a radical change from the old nightly build
routine.
