5 Levels of Agile Planning
rallylogo-100
When Agile methods are applied to projects that run for more then a few iterations or with multiple teams, the view of ‘the whole’ is often lost. One practical solution is to add planning levels to incorporate the current view of the whole without investing in large upfront design. This paper walks teams through five levels of Agile planning and provides specific examples of meeting agendas and team expectations. The added levels of planning are not artificial or time-consuming, and they focus the right people on the product with the right level of detail, thus avoiding spending large amounts of time and money before feature delivery begins.
