In 2009, agile is no longer about the small teams that it began with, its now about some of the biggest companies in the world applying agile like never before. The maturing of agile as a whole, while keeping its original spirit, was one of the big topics at the Agile 2009 conference in Chicago this year. We saw an entire new generation of agile tools from the vendors, heard all about the cutting edge ideas in agile, and found out how agile is being adopted on an enterprise level. Even at a time when the economy is down, the conference keeps growing. So watch this video to hear what you missed or re-live the action from this year! TRT: 9:10 [More] [Less]

Danube Systems has announced at Agile 2009 that their newly updated Scrumworks Pro 4 now has a connector for Tasktop. This takes it all the way from Pro 4s newly expanded program-level management down to the individuals task-level productivity integrating with apps like Outlook, GMail and the Eclipse IDE so that developers can seamlessly code and accomplish tasks within their favorite development environment and productivity apps just by sending themselves emails or checking boxes while staying integrated with their company-wide Agile teamwork process. At Agile 2008 in Toronto Canada we learned that the pace of Agile Adoption has really picked up and that we are passed the lessons learned stage. We are starting to hear some real success stories. We interviewed conference attendees, agile thought leaders and Agile Alliance board members to learn what is behind the current pace of agile adoption. During the show we talked with people like Robert, “Uncle Bob” Martin, Rachel Davies and Amr Elssamadisy about the changing face of agile as more enterprise organizations embrace agile practices. We also talked about the role of management providing leadership throughout the agile transformation with Matthew Edwards, and, Bob Payne. Finally, we wrapped up the show discussing the future of agile with David Anderson, Erik Lundh and Mary and Tom Poppendieck. Watch this video and hear what you missed or relive the action at Agile 2008. TRT: 16:42 [More] [Less]
